Policies

Applis Publishers follows best practice guidelines in research reporting in accordance with “COPE publication ethics” for promoting research integrity. Therefore, we expect researchers to adhere with its mandatory code of conduct for ensuring accurate and responsible research, as it is a direct reflection of quality work that helps in fostering an efficient and sustainable publishing system.
All Applis Publishers journals follow COPE guidelines in addressing any issues of scientific correction regarding Authorship, duplicate & redundant publication, conflict of interest, research misconduct, editorial independence, plagiarism & copyrights, and obligation to clinical registration.

Authorship

Authorship credit should be based on 1) substantial contributions to conception and design, acquisition of data, or analysis and interpretation of data; 2) drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content; and 3) final approval of the version to be published. Authors should meet conditions 1, 2, and 3.
When a large, multicenter group has conducted the work, the group should identify the individuals who accept direct responsibility for the manuscript. These individuals should fully meet the criteria for authorship/contributorship defined above, and editors will ask them to complete journal-specific author and conflict-of-interest disclosure forms. When submitting a manuscript authored by a group, the corresponding author should clearly indicate the preferred citation and identify all individual authors as well as the group name.
• Acquisition of funding, collection of data, or general supervision of the research group alone does not constitute authorship.
• All persons designated as authors should qualify for authorship, and all those who qualify should be listed.
• Each author should have participated sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for appropriate portions of the content.

Author Policies

• Inform all co-authors of the submission of the manuscript to the journal.
• Ensure that the manuscript adheres to all Applis Publishers policies (publication ethics, data deposition, etc).
• Manage all correspondence between the journal and co-authors.
• Designate a substitute correspondent if unavailable.
• Ensure co-authors have paid publication charges by the point of editorial acceptance.
• Post-publication: Respond to queries and provide data/materials as requested.
• The submission must be completed by a co-author, not an agency or unrelated individual.
• Ensure the submission is free from spelling, grammar, and clarity issues.
• Applis Publishers adheres to ICMJE uniform requirements of authorship.
