Dogan Ibrahim (Editor-in-Chief)
Professor of Computer Information Systems, Near East University, Cyprus.

Biography: Prof Dr. Dogan Ibrahim graduated from the University of Salford (UK) with First Class Honours in electronic engineering. he then received an MSc frm the University of Manchester (UK) in automatic control engineering. Prof Ibrahim completed his PhD studies at the City University (UK) in digital signal processing.
Prof Ibrahim continued to his undergraduate studies at the University of Salford in England, where he obtained the Degree of BSc with First Class Honours in Electronic Engineering in 1977. He then went to the Manchester University in England where he obtained the degree of MSc in Automatic Control Engineering. Prof Ibrahim completed his postgraduate studies at the City University in London in 1977 where he obtained the degree of PhD in the field of signal processing.
After graduating Prof Ibrahim has worked at several places. Initially, he worked as a lecturer at the South Bank University in the UK. He later joined the General Electric Company (GEC) in London where he worked as a principal research engineer, specializing in the field of LSI chip design. Prof Ibrahim joined the firm Computer Analysis and Programmers (CAP) where he was employed as an analyst and systems designer. He then joined the Greater London Council traffic control department where he worked for many years at high positions as a systems designer, researcher, and a programmer, specialized in designing computer aided automatic traffic control systems.
Prof Ibrahim joined the Near East University from its early days in 1990. He is the founder of the Department of Computer Engineering where he worked for many years as the chairman of this department. He is currently the Chairman of the department of Biomedical Engineering.
Prof Ibrahim has over 60 technical books published by famous publishers such as Wiley, Butterworth, and Newnes. He also has books published in Turkish language in Cyprus and Turkey. He is also the author of over 250 technical papers, conferences, and seminars.
