Message of the Editor-in-Chief
Dear Colleagues,
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a constantly and rapidly evolving field of surgery. Last decades are marked with astonishing achievements in our specialty: face and hand transplantations, tissue engineering, refinement of various procedures, and many other innovations. Accordingly, there is an increased demand to share the upcoming abundant information amongst Plastic Surgeons fraternity, bring together opinions and discussions – all this to fulfill our honor and privilege to improve people’s quality of life. Unfortunately, an information space is quite limited, and the Plastic Surgeons experiencing considerable difficulties in presenting they experience to the surgical society.
It is my honor and privilege to announce an establishment of the new international, peer-reviewed, open access online Journal “Advances in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery” (APRS). The Journal (APRS) seeks to become a leading international scholarly informational source in the field of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. We are committed to providing high-quality research and clinical articles and reviews that will highlight advanced innovative approaches and strategies in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, address our complex and dynamic challenges to improve patients’ safety, procedural outcomes, and elevate the science of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery worldwide.
Our journal is welcoming variety types of manuscripts: Clinical, Research, Review, Editorial and Case Reports. We will provide to the authors a high-quality, timely peer review and will try our best to facilitate publications in the best way possible.
I am proud to report that we have a very strong Editorial Board for our Journal consisting of the world leading experts in the various areas of the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and I am sure that APRS will successfully fulfill its Mission of introducing the newest advances of the field to the fraternity of Plastic Surgeons and beyond.
