Advances in orthopedics and arthroplasty is a scholarly, peer-reviewed open access journal which serves to accelerate scientific discoveries by publishing high standard scientific articles that foster awareness as well as a collaborative environment for the exchange of ideas and advancement of knowledge in the field of orthopedics and Arthroplasty.
The journal is committed to provide practical, up-to-date information on diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of chronic and acute orthopedic and joint diseases whilst strictly adhering to an external process of peer-review.
AOA is dedicated to publish manuscripts that are novel and meet the needs of a diverse audience by addressing the latest research pertaining to: arthroscopic surgery; minimally invasive total knee and hip replacement; foot & ankle surgery; shoulder surgery; hip surgery; sports medicine; knee surgery; microsurgery and limb and digit re-plantation; spinal surgery; Pediatric orthopedic Surgery; bone tumor and orthopedic oncology and reconstructive surgery following trauma.
The journal has a particular interest in publishing articles related to state-of-the-art technologies and surgical techniques in arthroplasty including those dealing with prosthetic design, bio-mechanics, bio-materials, metallurgy, and biologic response to arthroplasty materials in vivo and in vitro.
AOA publishes original research studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and case reports, along with invited editorials and commentaries. Original research papers must report well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper.
The AOA journal combines the interests of researchers and clinical practitioners across orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation medicine, physical therapy, and bio-medical engineering to advance orthopedic research by promoting rigorous, fair, and constructive evaluation of all submitted articles.
The journal’s open access policy facilitates wide distribution of published articles for better orthopedic treatments.
APRS journal will function as a forum for clinicians and basic scientists to share information, communicate, and collaborate in search of solutions to significant clinical issues as well as be an exciting addition to the existing literature related to advances in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
