To provide a forum for dissemination of new and important studies in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, and dermatopathology inorder to improve patient safety and outcomes.

Aims to advance research on the diagnosis, management and treatment of medical dermatological conditions as well as new surgical techniques including surgical closures and cosmetic procedures.
Aims & Scope: Advances in Medical and Surgical dermatology (AMSD) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal which publishes high quality, peer-reviewed articles on all cutting edge aspects of medical and surgical dermatology with the aim to foster the highest standards of patient safety and outcomes. Topics include cutaneous biology; clinical and laboratory investigations; contact dermatitis & allergy; dermatological surgery & lasers; dermatopathology; epidemiology & health services research; paediatric dermatology; photobiology; and therapeutics.
Advances in Medical and Surgical dermatology journal provides healthcare practitioners with objective, peer-reviewed information covering all aspects of the management of dermatological conditions, particularly the place in therapy of newer and established agents and procedures. most current research on the diagnosis and treatment of medical dermatological conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, actinic keratosis, rosacea, and skin cancer.
The open-access policy of this journal ensures that the journal leads the way with the up-to-date and latest clinical research information in advancing the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of variety of skin diseases like atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, chronic skin wound, aphthous ulcer including the development of novel immune and photodynamic therapies for treatment of skin cancers.
Special areas of concentration include, but are not limited to research in stem cell cellular therapy/regenerative medicine; clinical epidemiology & health services research; dermatological surgery & lasers; photo biology; and therapeutics.
